Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and secure new forwarding business across air and sea freight
Extensive experience in senior-level sales within the air and sea freight forwarding industry
Skilled in sales planning, execution, and building strong customer rapport through a consultative approach
Manage communications and resolve customer inquiries diplomatically, ensuring timely issue resolution
Ensure efficient feedback on new business opportunities and collaborate with Internal Sales & Servicing partners
Focus on increasing forwarding volumes and profitability in target countries
Participate in monthly Sales & Service meetings, providing feedback on market intelligence and new business opportunities
Manage individual target, trade growth, and account profitability
Track performance against monthly and yearly targets
- Minimum Requirements
-
Matric / Senior Certificate equivalent
Tertiary Qualification preferred (Logistics / Supply Chain Management / International Trade & Transport)
Minimum 5-10 years' New Business Sales experience in a Clearing & Forwarding agency environment where success would need to be presented
CargoWise or Shipshape Preferred experience
