Key Focus Areas:
• Manage daily transport operations exports, bonded cargo, and domestic distribution.
• Ensure all shipments are executed according to customer requirements and agreed service levels.
• Coordinate vehicle scheduling, route planning, load optimization, and delivery performance.
• Monitor transport activities to ensure on-time collections and deliveries.
• Resolve operational disruptions, delays, and service failures promptly.
• Oversee transport planning for road freight movements throughout Southern Africa.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Senior Certificate equivalent
Tertiary Qualification preferred (Logistics / Supply Chain Management / International Trade & Transport)
Minimum 5 years managerial experience in a freight environment
MS Office proficient – intermediate to advanced excel
TMS experience – Transport Management Systems
Health and Safety knowledge
Experience in reporting and KPI tracking
Experience in managing vehicle licensing, inspections, and transport documentation
Understanding of budgeting
Experience in vehicle tracking and monitoring
Control of fleet maintenance
