Key Focus Areas:
• Assisting with government audits conducted on Customs clearance department
• Ensure company compliance and improvements within the department
• Maintain relationships with local Customs authorities and trade community
• Monitor and disseminate regulatory changes
• Ensure all Customs licenses/authorisations are in place and up-to-date
• Controlling of refunds, TDNS, RGC and Acquittals
• Ensuring correct incoterms applied, supervise entries team
• Processing all BOE's as and when required

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric / Senior Certificate
• Tertiary Education preferred (Customs Clearing Part I & II)
• Knowledge of Customs and Excise Act, rules, schedules and guidelines
• Import and Export Control Act
• Inco Terms 2020
• Freight clearing documentation flow procedures
• Tariff calculation concepts
