Responsibilities
• Source, onboard, and manage third‑party transport suppliers.
• Use industry networks to secure reliable and cost‑effective transport capacity.
• Assess cargo requirements and allocate suitable vehicle types (tautliner, flatbed, refrigerated, abnormal, etc.).
• Negotiate rates and service agreements with transport partners.
• Oversee daily transport planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation and safety standards.
• Resolve operational issues and monitor transporter performance.

Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in transport management or road‑freight operations.
• Strong relationships within the logistics and transport industry.
• Proven ability to source and manage third‑party transporters.
• Solid understanding of vehicle types, cargo requirements, and route planning.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Durban, KZN.
