Key Focus Areas:

Customs sea/air/road import & export entries
Tariffing and framing entries
Reporting
Quality checking of entries
Assist with vat & duty calculations for estimates team
Provisional Payments, Liquidations
Query resolutions
Letters to SARS
Assisting with stopped shipments, arranging 3rd party inspections

Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Senior Certificate equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Clearing & Forwarding agency environment
Preferred Cargowise experience
AEO Certification preferred
Knowledge of Customs legislation, tariff classifications, Incoterms 2020
Knowledge of export/Import documentation & procedures
Working knowledge of third-party quality control authorities’ procedures – ITAC, State VET, Plant Inspector
etc.
Understanding of Bond & Acquittal procedures
