Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with managers throughout the employee appraisal and performance review process, ensuring consistency, compliance and timely completion.
• Coach managers on objective setting, performance management, underperformance, recognition and employee development plans.
• Provide management and senior leadership with accurate HR reports, dashboards and insights to support workforce planning and business decisions.
• Analyse HR data relating to turnover, absenteeism, performance, retention and productivity, identifying trends and recommending appropriate interventions.
• Coach and develop managers on effective people management practices and HR processes.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide relevant feedback and recommendations to management.
• Support employee onboarding and probation review processes in collaboration with recruitment teams and line managers.
• Provide professional guidance on employment legislation, HR policies, procedures and best practices.
• Manage and advise on employee relations matters while ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
• Assist with disciplinary matters, grievances, terminations, organisational restructuring and other employee relations processes.
• Partner with managers during organisational and structural changes, ensuring effective communication, employee engagement and business continuity.
• Support learning and development initiatives aligned with organisational and departmental requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
• Contribute HR insights, best practices and recommendations to the broader HR function.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Provide additional HR support and undertake projects as required.

Minimum Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or similar senior HR role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Solid experience in employee relations and performance management.
• Experience advising and coaching managers on people-related matters.
• Demonstrated experience analysing HR data and preparing management reports and dashboards.
• Experience supporting organisational change and people-related business improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, development and exit processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with managers and senior stakeholders.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.
