Key Focus Areas:

Estimates/Rate Proposals/Tenders ( Air, Sea, Courier – Import, Exports & Cross Trades)
Negotiate rates with Service Providers, Agents
Follow up on estimates and report back on gained estimates and any losses
Ability to accurately calculate freight costs; customs duties; taxes and transportation

Minimum Requirements:

Matric or Senior Certification equivalent
Tertiary education within Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade & Transport or related field preferred
Working knowledge of all transport modes – Air, Ocean & Road for both Imports & Exports
Knowledge of Incoterms 2020
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Freight Estimating Experience Essential
Ms Excel experience preferred
