Key Focus Areas:
• Oversee and coordinate daily seafreight operations, ensuring efficiency and service excellence.
• Supervise, support and guide the Operations Team, ensuring adherence to SOPs, deadlines and company procedures.
• Manage and monitor OOG and hazardous shipments, customs inspections and shipment documentation.
• Ensure accurate file management, costing, invoicing and profitability, including supplier rates and client billing.
• Maintain strong service levels with clients, subcontractors, carriers and network partners.
• Monitor operational performance through daily/weekly reports, meetings and quality checks.
• Resolve operational queries and issues promptly, escalating where required.
• Ensure compliance, documentation and process standards are consistently maintained.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client business and improve operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric or senior certificate equivalent
• Minimum 8-10 years experience in oceanfreight exports, preferred Supervisory experience
• Clearing & Forwarding Agency Experience only
