Key Focus Areas:
• Manage end-to-end ocean export shipments.
• Book cargo, containers and transport with shipping lines.
• Source and negotiate competitive freight rates.
• Prepare and manage export documentation.
• Maintain Salesforce jobs, rates and reports.
• Keep destination rate sheets and shipment cost/selling reports up to date.
• Track shipments and provide client updates.
• Liaise with shipping lines, clients and internal teams.
• Resolve delays, routing issues, queries and cargo claims.

Minimum Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Incoterms, ocean freight forwarding and international shipping regulations.
• Technical: Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data entry.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Education: Grade 12 required; a qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics will be advantageous.
