Key Focus Areas:

- Independently frame and process import Bills of Entry for sea and air freight shipments.
- Prepare and process DA70s, refunds, duty drawbacks and rebate entries.
- Handle complex customs entries, tariff classification and tariff determinations.
- Manage customs stops, inspections, bookings and related queries.
- Liaise with SARS and relevant stakeholders to resolve customs matters efficiently.
- Assist with basic customs registrations and acquittals.
- Perform quality checks on customs entries and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy
and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to the Customs and Excise Act and applicable customs regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and meet operational deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

- Matric (essential).
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience framing import sea and air freight customs entries.
- Strong working knowledge of South African customs procedures, regulations and the Customs
and Excise Act.
- Experience independently framing complex import entries.
- Sound knowledge of tariff classification, refunds, duty drawbacks, rebate entries and acquittals.
- Experience with customs quality control and resolving SARS queries
